Wedding Photography Glasgow – Autumn Wedding
Jo & Euan married in October 2016 at the Western House Hotel in Ayr. I had worked at the venue before and hoped for dry weather as the gardens are a fantastic setting for photographs.
The weather leading up to the big day had been unsettled but thankfully it all worked out well. Our day started at the bride’s parents’ house for Bridal Preparation photographs. It was a busy household as it often is but everyone was relaxed and we were on schedule. I was over the moon when Jo granted her permission to take her dress in to the garden for some lovely images. I had always wanted to do that!
We headed off then to the Western House Hotel to catch up with the boys who were already there. We had time to get a good selection of wedding photographs before the ceremony.
I loved Jo & Euan’s choice of colours for their wedding. The flowers were stunning. I loved the kilts and tartan trousers with the brown brogues.
It was a humanist wedding which made the ceremony very personal for the couple and their guests. We had a few laughs and I’m sure a few tears too.
The gardens at the Western House are lovely for wedding photography. There are many options to where you can go with the couple alone and for family and friend group shots.
The car which brought Jo to the entrance was lovingly restored by family members. It was a focal point during the day.
Thanks Jo & Euan for having me as part of your day. I wish you every happiness for the years ahead x
