Wedding Photography Glasgow – Spring Wedding

Ainsley & Glenn got married in March 2017. They booked me for both wedding photography and wedding videography. Coverage started at Cathcart old Parish Church and continued through to the evening reception which took place at the Busby Hotel.

The church is a very impressive building built in 1831. I loved the exterior wall brick which made a great background for some of our photos.

It was a relaxed ceremony and Reverend Galbraith’s only stipulation was that he did not want to be in the photos. He did surprise the couple with the gift of a knitted ‘policeman’ which raised a few giggles.

After the ceremony it was onwards to the Busby Hotel to carry on with our formal group photos and couple shots. I always plan the photo requirements in advance as your day goes quickly.

The Busby Hotel is a lovely venue which benefits from a huge terrace on the first floor which the wedding guests made full use of.

We were able to take some photos too in the luxurious Bridal Suite complete with private exterior hot tub on the hotel’s rooftop terrace.

We were incredibly lucky on the day as the sun shone brightly: you will see that from the gorgeous blue sky. Always remember, the weather is the one thing you can’t control on your wedding day. You just have to go with it and work with your photographer to ensure you still get great coverage.

Ainsley & Glenn had a wonderful day joined by many friends and family. They’ve since said their day was perfect and they wouldn’t change a thing. That really is the best you can wish for.
