About Lorraine Bhandari Photography & Film
I am a bit of a dreamer: I’m Piscean after all! Family and friends mean the world to me. So what better job than to be part of what is considered one of the most important events in a couple’s lifetime. To be there and witness two individuals become one as they continue their love story. This is why I became a wedding photographer and videographer.
I am based in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire and started my business in 2010. I work full time managing my Photography & Videography business. That means when you call or e-mail I’ll handle your query. If you decide to book with me, I’ll take good care of you. I film, I photograph, I edit, I deliver! It may result in waiting a wee bit longer for your final product as it’s only ‘little old me’ but rest assured it’s worth it! Working independently and from home does mean I have no overheads and no payroll and my prices reflect this. The investment is affordable. Have a look at my work, read my reviews. I truly own your wedding journey and wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’ve always had a keen interest in Photography & Videography from a very early age. I’ve taken several courses in Black & White Photography, Digital Imaging, Portrait Photography, Wedding Seminars and Video Editing to improve my skills. I am not complacent and as a Wedding Photographer and Videographer, there is always room to grow and develop. I am enthusiastic and passionate about what I do. I feel very privileged to be part of your special lifetime events and am confident you’ll love my work.
The planning and preparation which goes in to organising a wedding is phenomenal and it can be overwhelming at times. We got married on the 22nd May 2010 and for anyone who can remember it turned out to be one of the hottest, sunniest days of that year. We had a truly amazing day, made special by the fact we were joined by so many of our friends and family members. But sadly there were people who couldn’t make it and that’s why having our day filmed and photographed was so important for us. I lost my dad in 2014 and life can never be the same after that but he walked me down the aisle and I danced with him in my wedding dress and I have those moments to look back on.
So I’ve been a bride and therefore know the importance of a wedding day. I appreciate it’s not just about the day itself but the weeks, months and sometimes years of preparation which goes in to it. Photographs and Film are a great way to always remember…
We have two daughters now and often show them our special day! If you decide to book me for your wedding, I will capture images and film you will treasure for always.
